The Outreach Committee seeks to be a go-to resource on financial aid information to all of OASFAA’s fellow Ohio education stakeholders (especially, admissions, access, TRIO and high school counselors).
The Outreach Committee welcomes all OASFAA members, regardless of your experience and/or time constraints. The Outreach Committee is responsible for the annual High School and Access Counselor Financial Aid Workshops, several counselor training webinars, OACAC Articulation training, as well as coordination of Financial Aid 101 High School nights.
You can contribute as much or as little as you would like, and you do not have to be a presenter to join the committee. Committee members create training content, coordinate the various workshops and events, and if interested, serve as presenters for the trainings.
Outreach Committee activities typically run from late June to early January, with two in-person meetings in June and July, the OACAC Articulations workshops in September, the High School and College Access Financial Aid Workshops in October, and a series of webinars from November to January. In addition, the committee coordinates Financial Aid 101 High School nights throughout the early summer and fall.
